Well how fantastic was the launch at the Singing Gallery. We have to thank all the performers who help make it such a grand day Eric Bogle, Chris Finnen, Driftwood, Spirit of Alondray, Playback theatre and The Nobodies were among the many performers that supported Tribe FM off to a memorabile start. Not only hundreds of signatures but also forty wonderful souls have put there names forward as potential station workers. Interest in what will be this, innovative and aware community radio station, has been overwhelming in a happy kind of way with interest from the local media with an article in the Messenger Press, interviews with Adelaide FM and soon a piece on the ABC all pointing to the fact that this green powered station is something that our community wants and is prepared to put time energy and passion towards making it come to life. Centro has presented us with a fantastic opportunity by inviting us to be part of the Smart Eco Expo which runs for two weeks from January 28th to10thFeb. This will be our first calling to all those willing workers to volunteer their time to man the stall and help get more signatures and sell some Tribe FM t-shirts, Tribe jewellery and also a live CD of the Singing Gallery show but the most important thing is to demonstrate to the public that we are going to make this our community station a reality. So if you can give some time over those two weeks that would be great. The Tribe steering committee is arranging a meeting for the Thursday 20th of December at the Willunga Hub which is opposite the library in Willunga. It will be great to start to get to know each other and start to understand what skills each of us can bring to the Tribe FM family. Thanks to Robin Turner who was hands on with helping out with the stall at the Christmas party at the Sunday estate on the 25th November. The stall with his trademark sunflowers taking on special status within the tribe. The sun flower reminds us of the energy of the sun and also the power and beauty of nature. So with every body's ideas welcome for artistic design for our blossoming station the future feels very exciting. Jane Reilly gave us a fun interview and a couple of great photos so thanks to all those that put on the Christmas show. Also thanks goes out to Fox Creek for donating some wines and also No Worry Beads that along with our t-shirts made a raffle that was fabulous.

Also thanks are in order to Jack Connell for all his technical support and information that has made us all understand that our dreams can become reality. Don Chapman is also up for a big thanks for all his work in the I.T area and in organizing our way forward to our next objectives
Our next task is have a meeting with the Major to see if we can find ourselves a home, there a spot we would love to get which is very aptly on a street named Station terrace in Willunga but there are many variable to whether this is suitable or available but all we can do is keep our fingers crossed.
The Premier Mike Rann has signed our pledge and stated that community radio has played a big part in his political career ,Amanda Rishworth also echoed the same sentiments and its becoming obvious what a fantastic opportunities we have as a community not only make not only to have fun but to actively participate to make our own world a better place by allowing our community have its own voice so that we all can participate in guiding our world to be as it should be for our own sakes and for the generations to come.
